The Splendour of Hampton Court Palace – Including Restoration and Gardens
Linda Collins considers the Palace from the viewpoint of Henry VIII before moving on to the work of Sir Christopher Wren for William and Mary. The lecture takes in the fire of 1986 and the subsequent restoration of the State Apartments, finishing with the restoring and replanting of the King’s Privy gardens of 1701.
